Meet Olivia

The Performer Behind the Magic

Olivia is a 14-year-old St. John’s singer, dancer and actor who has spent much of her childhood performing on stage.

Her musical theatre credits include Best Kind Productions’ Frozen, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical and Jellybean Row, as well as PMP Productions’ Scrooge.

Dance is also a huge part of Olivia’s life. She has performed in Kittiwake Ballet’s The Nutcracker for eight years and in Kittiwake’s Winnie the Pooh ballet. She currently studies ballet and tap and is working toward her Grade 6 Cecchetti Ballet and ISTD Intermediate Tap examinations.

Olivia is also an experienced singer and member of Shallaway Youth Choir, with performance experience both at home in Newfoundland and internationally. She takes private voice lession with Dynamic Sound Studio. 

Beyond the stage, Olivia has volunteered as an apprentice and camp counsellor with Shallaway and performs with the Arts & Aging Network, bringing music and joy to seniors throughout the St. John’s area.

More Than a Princess Costume

All those years of singing, dancing and acting mean that when Olivia arrives at a party, she isn't simply wearing a beautiful costume — she's bringing a character to life.

Once Upon a Twirl combines real performance training with the kind of fairytale magic children love: live singing, dancing, storytelling, imagination and plenty of opportunities for the birthday child to feel truly special.

And because Olivia is still a student with her own dance, music and performance commitments, Once Upon a Twirl accepts only a limited number of celebrations each month.
